Description sort of just a concept drawing to help me visualize some ideas for how i might wanna draw out a certain scene in a comic story (as if it were a single issue in a comic book series) i've been scripting out for a while now. i was so excited about all the cool weird stuff i could do with the visuals for this scene and just had to start trying to draw out some ideas.

cortex learns that at some point while n. gin still had an actual career, he was the lead engineer on some kind of top secret project to develop a nuclear warhead for the US military that'd put every other nuke in the world to shame. doomsday weapon-type shit. the project was shut down before the missile was ever constructed, but n. gin still has all the blueprints hidden away somewhere. cortex, of course, wants to use the schematics so the N-team can build it themselves. Β gin refuses to disclose the location of the blueprints, says it's too unethical, cortex is persistent, brings in n. trance to force gin to spill the beans through the power of suggestion.

i think all of gin's cybernetics that have a neural component (optics, the cybernetic parts of his brain, etc) start behaving erratically and glitching out when he finds himself in any sort of altered state of consciousness - severe sleep deprivation, intoxication, hysteria, or hypnosis like here, etc. - they're not designed to handle the garbage information his tripped-out brain is spewing at them and may just shut down altogether. hence the LED light in his robotic eye going out.

gin may be a bad guy, but he's never been all that good at it. his heart is just a little too big (ie. it exists at all)
