Man, I came kind of close to making something like that, but I still can't figure out how to get these really dense, complex fractals out of that technique. You're using the two flame rotation tech right? Or am I missing something...

You're right I am using the two flame technique. The trick is with the "right" base flame and the variation settings of the two triangles. Note me if you would like me to explain further.
