Serious Spoilers for Chapter 3 of "Ruby: A RWBY Fangame" ---
The last hug I swear. During the airing of V9, when it was hinted that there will something relating to "A mothers promise" I was anticipating a meaningful conversation between Ruby and Summer, even if it was just an illusion. I was rather disappointed she instead oversaw IMO an unrelated conversation between Summer, Tai, and Raven the night of her final mission instead. I was a bit disappointed.
I mean Ruby's whole world is centered around her mom being the Hero she dreamed of, and to an extent Ruby's protector.
In chapter 3 of my fangame, I saw an opportunity to really showcase "A Mothers Promise" as a illusion/dream of Summer interacting with Ruby directly.
