that's so cool your friend's brother owns threadless, that has to be one of the coolest clothing brands out there. I love their stuff, that's actually where I got the idea for this piece and I liked it so much I decided to do my own version of it. And speak of the devil the guy who actually designed the t-shirt that you're thinking of commented before you...what a coincidence ^.*

I apologize if you feel that I am trying to steal your work, that is not my intention. I used it as the source and inspiration for mine. I really liked your concept and so I applied it to this piece. So I again I apologize if you feel that I'm stealing your work and claiming credit for it. That is defintely not my intention. If you haven't heard imitiation is the ultimate form of flattery, and I am merely quoting your work in mine. If anything you should be flattered above all else that I regarded your piece so highly that I decided to create a version of my own.

the only thing i would say is to use fewer photoshop (gimp?) filters... i recognize the filters (i would say colored pencil and accented edges? there are many combonations that would return the same results) and it has a very filtered feel as well.
the concept is great though.
