Description Silkworm (Bombyx mori) eats only mulberry leaves. It is bred for cca 5000 years for the silk poduction. Origins of the silkworm breeding are in ancient China. From there, the knowledge of silkrom breeding spread around the world, to Japan, India, SE Asia and even Europe.
