Description
"I was one of many foolish enough to believe the Empire was truly invincible. I was one of the fools who thought past enemies like the Cult were a past to be forgotten. I was wrong, and when I've realized so, over 120.000 good Geodosian, male and female, already have paid the price on Andron Prime." - Master Imperator Lucius Torquemada, Headmaster of the Epsilon-Pi Legion, after the 2nd Neutron Explosion in Andron Prime. This image was one of the best I had concerning the yet-to-be-finished Nathaniel Frigate, the prideful ship that ferried the fellow Geodosian across the Sigma-Andron System and fought it's way through most things Man alone could imagine.
Today, unfortunately, it's just an image. Because my HD crashed weeks ago, losing all work I've put effort into. The Nathaniel Project is dead, but it can still be reborn, and be made more better, even then this.
For now, behold how it was before forever falling into oblivion.

Yup, but I was planning in a far future to scrap that and work on a better version. As a guy once told, this looked too much of a shoebox, and I ultimately had to agree with him. This frigate's version was just... Too basical and too 1997.

Well, with the shoebox thing aside, the technical stuff you did here look good towards a path in 3d design. The precise modeling of parts and the well-controlled UV mapping and texturing means you'd most probably make a better version of this in the future. I'd suggest you work on your presentation techniques such as adding a nice background and doing some post-render touch-ups in Photoshop that would really make your model shine.

Well, I'd have to evolve to VRay for that. Nicer background means, besides a nicer space image, a controllable lightning set, and that's something that can't be controlled while the materials depend on HDRI, as I've naturally learned.

Presentation techniques can mean the difference between a good model and a great model, as I've naturally learned recently
