Description

Here is a quick intro to my new fantribe, the FlickerWings. They inhabit Pantala and are free for anybody to make (message me the design or tag me in a post for approval, so that I can add your character to the masterlist). Here are the basics.

-FlickerWings are covered in tough scales, which are generally dark, muted colors (anywhere on the spectrum as long as they help the dragon blend into the night), with few pale highlights. They have bioluminescent scales on their tails (and sometimes scattered along their bodies) that are used for communication. They are very small, usually only half the size of an average SilkWing. The design shown here is relatively simple, but FlickerWings can have a variety of markings.
-Their story takes place in modern times. They were neutral during the Tree Wars and have submitted to Wasp’s reign. They are mainly distant from other Pantalan tribes and even dragons who live in Hives stick to themselves. As long as they stay out of HiveWing politics, Wasp allows them to live in peace. They coexist with SilkWings.
-To avoid conflict with HiveWing monarchy, they do not have a queen. However, FlickerWings often live in groups led by one Commander. This Commander reports to the Lead Commander, who essentially functions as a queen. The current Lead Commander is Twilight ( sta.sh/01hzzh8vfzy5).
-They live all across Pantala, preferring to gather around bodies of water or in Hives. Before the trees were destroyed, they lived deep in forests.
-They are usually named after plants, animals, and characteristics.
