Commentary for March 9, 2020:

It’s fun to write Eggman when he’s being salty. While he is definitely arrogant and far too sure of himself, I think he’s at least smart enough to recognise that his regular Badniks are no match for the likes of Sonic or Blaze; he’s just hoping to hold them off long enough for his plans to succeed.

I hadn’t originally planned to feature Orbot and Cubot in this chapter, but I didn’t want to neglect them after making a point of including them in Eon’s World, which is why I brought them in for this scene here. They’re a fun duo and including them here allows for a little comic relief in an otherwise fairly heavy chapter.
