I don't often run into painted monsters that are scary...more often, just ugly. But this thing is terrifying...size-wise and the raw ferocity in its eyes. I'm not on that boat..but I can *feel* the fear as if I were. You nailed it! Amazing job!
I also like it better than the other version, because of the color adjustments. They keep the eye in the frame and make the sea feel colder.

thanks, actually is a typo mistake, this is suppose to ve version 2 haha. After i painted version 1, i felt like the top part of the picture keeps leading the eye out of the picture. So thought i might add some visual weight back down from the top using darker shades and blue tone to stop the eye for drifting too far out and keep focus in the middle.
