Cover art from Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown, done on canvas.
I used acrylic paint, and a little bit of black ink for the details.
Stencil designs and printed font were drawn, cut out with an exacto knife, then painted over.
Geeze this took me forever to make, but I LOVE how it turned out.

i really like this, i can see how this would take you a VERY long time.
i graduate high school in 2013 and to first hear it mentioned on the Green Day album was awesome but then i listened to the song a couple times and realized how sad yet true it was.

Heh... that's me... I spend hours on my work, but this one took a full week, especially since I had to cut out my own stencils for the words and graffiti.
The whole album is like this mix of powerful and rebellious messages on how today's youth needs to stop the world from destroying itself, and it's all told using awesome rock music! 21 CB definately makes me sad, but it also makes me want to change the world.
