A sort of follow up to this picture [link] is Catlyke in labour. She is going to be giving birth to twins, thoug one of them is a breached birth, so it will be a little rough on her there.Yes it looks rough. Yes the background isn't as good as it could be. I was more interested in the emotion of the piece and thus it was just a quickie sketch.
I feel that birth is a beautiful part of life, and even if the mother is rather stressed out, in the end is beautiful.

Very nice work, the proportion looks great, so is the background, the only problem I see that you have is defining the space between the body and legs/hands.

She's already had the twins, the doctor was her GYN, Dr. Starsh
and the mounds right behind the belly are her breasts, her hair is blocking her shoulders mostly. I really should've drawn her hands in this pic.

You seem to not know how to read or know what the other meaning of "labour" means.
here's a lesson:
Pregnant women after 9 months give birth. It is called "Going into Labour".
