this is my 1st contest entry for (I'm not sure if I'm gonna make a second one)well... this entry is a sure loss... >_>;
I turned rose into Princess Tutu! x3 (with out the necklace thinggie and a cheesy mask) and Ed into... I dunno.. a nutcracker dude with a mask?! xD

but to me Fakir and Ahiru's relationship and Ed and Rose's relationship kinda similar in some ways... (well to me anyway) ^_^"

Ed is a very different character than Fakir. Ed has childish anger, while Fakir had to assume the position of a guardian and his gravity comes from a forced maturity. Ed fights for family, while Fakir fights to defy the powers-that-be.
Rose and Ahiru have one giant difference: Ahiru makes things happen. She's stubborn and persistent. Rose is weak-willed and gives up easily.
Fakir and Ahiru bond over their mutual affection for Mytho. Ed and Rose bond over the fact that he can help her. In general, Ahiru and Fakir help each other and work as a team, while Ed keeps protecting Rose.
Sorry for the big essay...it's fandom, interpret it how you will, that's my thoughts on it and yours are different. I happen to like EdxWin, but that's just my call.

*is shocked* Wow, I'm glad I saw this. Like... two or three years ago... I was chatting with a friend about who would be who in an FMA/Tutu cross, and I drew Rose as Tutu. *is sooo amused* We figured Ed would be Fakir, Al would be Mytho, Winry would be Lilie, Roy or Russel would be Autor, Lust would be Rue... It was cracktastic.

I think it really would have helped if you didn't show the outline of the eyes which are hidden by the hair.
