Well on A Tale of Two Stans, says that after the incidnet with the portal, Stanley went to brought some food after weeks on trying to reactiavte the portal, however Ma and Pa throught that it was Stanford, then Stanley managed to trick them and transformed the shack of his brother into The Mystery Shack, and Stanley took his brother identidy for 30 years, meanwhile he tried to reactivate the machine until the events of Not What He Seems happened
