Some people have a thing against the idea of Scrooge having an illegitimate child, more than they do with Dickie as a character. Many would argue that the relationship between Scrooge and Goldie (the comic versions — hard to be sure for the 2017 Goldie since we haven't seen her yet) is much more interesting if it's still "unfulfilled", and preferrably entirely sexless.

Это тоже хорошо, а то в старых УИ они были ну так влюблены в друг друга, что странно было, что ещё они не женаты. В комиксах тоже, он любит её, но упрямится, а она ждёт его ВЕЧНО, и так и будет до смерти ждать. Пусть лучше соперничают. Всё равно роман у них будет, как ни крути)))
