Painting completed January 25th, 2018I've always been fascinated with transparent and translucide material, in the strong direct light, where the light is cast into the shadow. For this study, I took the photo reference myself, using my daughter's marble collection, carefully choosing different colors and the perfect July + noon sunshine.
