This is a really nice read. And I guess I do agree, mostly with added content features. I always love the updates that add blocks. I guess though that Survival Minecraft was ruined for me with Beta 1.8.

These kids these days and their fancy "sprinting" and "hunger bar". It used to be that you couldn't even sneak and had to have a good sense of balance, or you would plummit to your death when building tall structures.
Seriously though, it's pretty awesome how far Minecraft has come in just a couple of years. This comic sums up my feelings pretty well.

I was just talking to a friend about this exact thing. I recently started playing again and got a server running for me and some friends. I've missed out on a TON of shit in this game and still learning about all the stuff that's been added since I stopped playing some months back.

All you young kids and your "Charcoal from logs" and "Gold bits from Zombie Pigs"...I feel ya on this one when my friends talk about how easy it is now, when I started back twords the beginning where you had to search for stuff and not just stay near the top layer to survive...Even if the updates are cool at some times, they do get a bit weird with the potions and all...But nice comic, the writing looks ok and the colors/texture is great.

Instant fave. I remember 1.3.1 when I was new at playing minecraft survival multiplayer. Boy, we had fun making stupid stuff. Also, the chunk errors helped us find a dungeon. Gotta love them really.
