Description
WIP-pictures of various unfinished plushies I've had lying around for weeks and up to years.I should have the calf finished within a couple of days, and then I'm hoping to move on to finishing up some more of the shelved longtimers. :3

It's a series of paintings that belong together, but I never came up with a good name for them all. The first one was named Siesta in the jungle, so "Siesta" is my placeholder. xD

Well, the crocodile which is the center piece in the first picture was on a week-long siesta nap.

Yeah. I'm not sure wether I should be greatful that the Crocodile didn't have time to go through a death roll, or if I should pity the tiger for making it all the way into his belly in one piece, thinking if what fate awaits him in there.

I guess that's how the life goes in a jungle. I'm sure many cute animals made their way into tiger's belly before he finally became a prey himself.

Al had it coming. He's been teasing Pete the Crocodile for years, dangling his tail above his head and telling him, that he wasn't fast enough to ever catch him. This time Al got too cocky though and Pete got hold of his tail. I imagine a tug of war ensued and once Al lost his grip on the tree branch he was holding on to, he pretty much catapulted himself into Pete's waiting maw. ^^

To my knowledge he doesn't have kids (although it is likely, I've just never given it a thought). He has two siblings though and they'd love to take over the territory for sure. They'll probably stear clear off the river though, since they are likely to have heard about the croc eating their bad ass brother.

Looks promising, my fav is that colorful parrot. Not sure about the size though, it's hard to tell from the photo.

There's another picture somewhere that might make it easier to guess at the size... *goes look for it* The parrot designed turned out to be one of those plush difficult to finish, because I ran out of stamina halfway through. xD

It's because they're based on critters that spawned from a series of jungle themed paintings. The first one was called "Siesta in the jungle" and I never came up with a title to gather them all under, so I'll just refer to anything that is related to them as Siesta-[insert word].
