Description
I made this little guy named Leonora back in June. He's based on the rabbit pattern I designed a while ago. I'm having a blast with these round critters. :3
I never got around to take any outdoor pictures of him, as he was sold and picked up within 24 hours of completing him. %D
This plush is available as a commission in my etsy store. You can find it and other round critters here.
Materials: Velour, faux fur, polyester fiber stuffing, plastic safety eyes and nose

I'm working on a whole flock of owls. This winter hasn't given any opportunity for outdoor photos with everything being all wet and kind of wintery dead. Hoping that will change soon so I can post nice photos of the newest owls. I'm planning on making some large lions too in different colors when I find the time. Got busy with commissions.

It works suprisingly well with his colors. I was a bit worried about that. I'm very limited with color options for the nose. It's either black, brown or pink. xD

Not yet. My hands have been in a bad way for the last five weeks or so with dermatitis that keeps getting agitaded everytime it's about to heal. So for the time being sewing is pretty much of limits (although I did do a commissioned plush calf this past week).

The rash is almost gone now. This winter has been hard on my skin. Not that we had much in ways of a winter (one or two days with a little snow, maybe), but my skin was unusually dry, despite applying a lot of cream and what not. Luckily it finally seems to be going in the right direction. I've busied myself with applicues the past few months, and that has really helped to keep my mind off the rash and going crazy from not doing anything. XD

It took very long time for the rash to go away, but I've found a combination of creams that have helped improve my skin. It is still sensitive, but it's not as unforgiving as it would usually be, so that's a great relief.

Thank you! I'm fond of it too. My mother in law purchased it to give it to her youngest sons to celebrate the birth of their newborn daughter. Fun thing is that I planned on naming this plush something along the line of Leo, but I didn't think that it fit, so I named him Leonora instead (despite of it being a girl's name). Some time later we visited the happy parents and asked them if they had decided on a name yet for their daughter and it turned out, that they were planning on naming her Leonora as well. They didn't know the lion plush they had gotten as a gift had a name, so it's a pretty fun coincidence. Don't you think? XD
