Its based on this incredible new boss that was added to the MMO Vindictus. The boss there was a tall slender bug-type monster, looking like it had an exoskeleton, and it could either stand up tall, or crawl on its hands and feet like a crazy contortionst reminiscent of Voldo from Soul Calibur. It had sharp claws, and spikes along its skeleton, so it would literally hurl itself and swipe at you to do damage.
The idea here is more or less the same, though an idea Ive added would be that it conceals itself in forests, standing up tall behind a layer of trees near paths and waiting for prey to wander by. It can kind of be likened to something like Slenderman when you think about it, but with alot more to do than just stand and stare at you lol

Though now with the whole 'Nuckelavee' beast going around in the current episodes, that may already outclass this one in how scary it is

A human head inside a insect-akin-thing makes it even more scarier. Seriously, that thing looks like it could bounce around like a Looney-Toon on acid.
