Several years ago, the Pokémon franchise reached my country (the Netherlands) and almost instantly got me hooked. Sadly to this day, I still haven't gotten over it and found that they're great for random doodling. ^__^

I reckon almost all fans of the franchise will have at least at some point wondered how the hell a Diglett would look above ground. It's one of those questions I doubt even Satoshi Tajiri can answer. ^w^

Anyway, a while ago I had some inspiration and felt like drawing. I tried to reconstruct how Diglett would look above ground, based on the information I had.

- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon has revealed that Diglett have feet.
- It can dig earth out of its way and use the move Scratch in the games: this indicates it has paws.
- Eh... Yeah I guess the tail was just artistic freedom. Partly because moles have little tails, and partly because it looks good.

I spent about 30 minutes on the sketch; an additional 60 to colour it. The colouring mainly took a lot of time because I was using dad's crappy pc (if it had been any slower, it'd be going backwards) and tried colouring in Paint Shop Pro instead of Adobe Photoshop. Won't be doing that again in a hurry... X___x;
