It's all about how you color the picture. YOu should try to set the hue low in the beginning, remove most of the color, and then with a few different steps bring back the colour. But you saw how I do it last night, and you will see again tonight. it's easier for me to show you that to explain to you how. you should also go through these tuts

The fire in this work looks good. I also like the light effect on the ground and on his pant. But I think his arms are too bright here. You should put more shade there like the way you do on his face. Remember that he is sitting in dark room. Light come from the fire on the knife and the card only.

Alright thanks!! The tattoo, i dont know i just thought the hand was empty so i put it in, i will work on that.
And the second one, i dont really know i never did accessory placement on a character, i have just seen video or had an idea, so maybe i need much more practise .....

# wow, nicely done with retouch! The eyes of the model, originally it's 'raging, evil, angry' already, and with a touch of 'fire', it make him more to a dark creature! Vampire! Werwolf! And the fire on the knife, and the spark, also the ground there, it just nicely done. don't have something obvious of it's fake. The only obvious part is the tattoo, somehow it looks really like it ink up, not real...but overally it just awesome!

I guess it's probably, for tattoo, it's too bright black... I mean, maybe use overlay or multiply. or simply use hue and saturation, makethe saturation down...no i think up. so it's look for blend to the skin? maybe. i mean maybe it would work.
