I've been looking back to try to figure this out, but I can't.
Is the raider mother an earth pony, while her son is a unicorn? I thought at first that she'd just lost her horn in battle, like that slaver in Project Horizons.

no, not a unicorn, she is an earthpony. its presumed the father is or was a unicorn

Also, is the child an rp character, or just the mom?

no, she doesn't know who the father is. one of those things that goes with being a Raider. and no, Slug is not an rp character, all these situations took place before the rp began

loving these guys! Poor Bullet Holes and Slug... hope they make it out ok, looks like a healing potion is in order. oh, and a MIRV for the bastard shooting at the colt. No kill like overkill.
Course, my FoE OC is a Robobrain, so it can't exactly wield weapons. ah well MEZZING TIME

I always felt sorry for the raiders I shot before seeing this. You make me feel good about having those feelings. lol

i'm thinking slug goes rage mode, taking bullets left and right but fires back twice as many bullets as he's taking. overall, the outcomes i see are; a poetic death for mother and son, they both barely live, or the wasteland just got a hell of a lot safer as slug survives, snaps, and hunts down every raider he can before finally dying surrounded by a mountain of raider corpses.

"The pinned one and the colt are marked yellow, the rest of them are red *loads weapon*. You five engage them from downhill, my shot will be the signal."
"But they're raiders. Look at the gear they're all wearing!"
"This is would be the first time I've seen a Raider traveling with their foal. That's good enough for me to help them."

Aah - but it ISN'T My Little Pony. This is entirely new. New, cool art, cool stories, awesome characters, music that is actually very good, and jokes that kids simply wouldn't understand.

Take your time. To me, it's really just mindless fun and giggles. I'm interested with the artwork and how they actually use flash animation to its true potential. ^^, Although season 1 also has some bloopers in it, we also have to consider that they had to roll one ep out per week and they're actually making 4 to 5 eps every time... 'til now... ^^,
