Hello people! Since today is May 19, the anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, I have decided to post this lovely little Grievous that snuck into my notes a while ago. I drew him in ball-point pen so there are quite a few mistakes, but I like him all the same. No references either since I was in class, but I think Grievous is pretty much burned into my brain by now so I can draw him from memory for the most part. I might color him later if I get around to it, but I liked him this way too so I figured I'd post him "as is" first. Enjoy, and may the Force be with you!

Do you do digital art? Because I was wondering, if maybe I drew a lineart, could you color it in for me? I have no digital art programs on my computer and I'd love to see one of my pictures digitalized.

Yeah. Actually I do most of my art digitally now. I'm probably a total amateur at it compared to most of the other digital artists out there, but I do alright. I'd be happy to color something for ya if you want. I could use all the practice I can get XD

No, it wouldn't be any trouble. It's summer, I've got plenty of free time XD Oh, and there's no need to pay me or anything. I'll do it just for the fun of it lol Plus it will be good practice for me.

lol I totally did that once. I drew all over this handout we were doing in class because I didn't think we had to turn it in. Then my teacher went around collecting them XD My teacher actually gave me an extra point for it lol

That's good. You must be a really good student with good grades. I was a crappy student. I was never all that good at school. I was always in trouble so I never really applied myself.

I took my required math classes sophomore and junior year, then there's senior year, plus the four years I was out of high school...its been five years since I've had to use any of this information, so I forgot it all.

Seriously. I've found the only thing I learned in high school that I actually "need" was English. Everything else just seems kind of useless in the "real world." There's other things I've learned that are useful but not "needed."

Well its good to know I'm not the only one. Really what use is knowing all this math and science and crap if we're not going to use it. We should work more on literacy, and actually making brain function better, not just cramming our heads with useless knowledge. Considering most other countries the populace can speak more than one language some kind of second language should be required to. Its optional now, but learning a second one should be required I think. Start it in Jr. High and make it mandatory through out high school. That way our students can better compare and compete on an international level.

Yeah, that would help a lot of people out once they get to the college level. A lot of my teachers have said that they have to "undo" the damage done by the grade school system and teach students how to think critically rather than just memorize facts and regurgitate them for a test. The language thing is a good idea too. It would make a huge difference I think.

I've hear that to. Luckily for me I had a few good English teachers that taught me how to think critically, plus my critical thinking is far superior to most because of my hobby. *points to overly complex bionicle robots* Back in High school I had the option to take a language class, but they didn't offer Italian, or Japanese, the only two other languages I really would care to learn. That and I wouldn't have been able to take art, which I did. So I took art and learned how to poorly draw, paint, and do sculpting(which I was decent at) and lost most of that skill instead of learning a language(probably not very well either) and forgetting it all.

I was lucky too, my dad teaches English and critical thinking at a University so I was able to learn it even if my high school teachers didn't teach me.
Yeah, I took Spanish for 3 years in high school, but I can't remember any of it now.

That's good. Critical thinking is something that I think an alarming amount of people can't really do. For me it such a normal process that I can't imagine not being able to do it.
Yeah see? Exactly, use it or lose it. Every school offered spanish, but I have no interest in learning Spanish. I don't want to go to Mexico, and I'm sick of all the illegal Mexicans here. Living in a part of california that has high agriculture there were a LOT of them. I don't want to learn their language simply because most of them come here and don't learn ours.

I didn't either, but I had to take regardless. I did actually enjoy the classes though. My teacher really loved the culture and she spent a lot of time telling us interesting myths and showing us documentaries and pictures about ancient ruins and stuff.

I briefly took spanish in my 8th grade year. The teacher there did that kind of stuff to. I wasn't interested though.
