You hit the button right on the nose. This is the part of the story where she decides to go fight Willy (her brother who she was cloned from). Dagger has basically been the only family she's had (Dagger's older bro raised them and a bunch of other orphans but was killed by Willy when he was trying to get to Trinity) and he doesn't want her to go.
