The bases...1 - Purple me before transformation
2 - Red me (devil base)
3 - Green *FullMoonArtists
I did that nuke by hand, pixel by bloody pixel. I used youtube videos as reference There's 9 or 10 frames of nuclear bomb going off there. Fun stuff. NOT! 
I wanted to add more, and something is bugging me about it now (not sure what) but I am going to leave it as is now After the explosion, they're covered in ash 
'Acme pause' after the explosion Think 'Wile.E.Coyote' when the Road Runner scares him off the cliff

This critique may be over a month overdue, but its here eventually.
I have a few suggestions for this. The shading of the emotes is pretty good, but the way the eyes are drawin in black makes them look rather weird. I'd suggest you change the colours to the same as the borders. The way they are also 2 pixels appart makes them look a little far appart, but if left like this they still look ok. The hands of the emotes appear to be 3x3 which makes them look a little bloated. 2x2 hands would probably look a little more normal
The explosion is one of the main areas that needs work. The way the background changes color makes it look very rough and choppy. It also isn't as smooth as it could be. If your interested, i'd suggest looking at the explosion tutorials on =Emotication
The other area that could do with some work is how it loops. Even if you just make the camera pan onto a new set of emoticons it would look far smoother than just stopping and restarting.
Overall theres some nice elements to it. The black on the emotes after the explosion looks pretty good, but some areas could definately do with a little more work

No, these ones aren't, sadly. I'm ok if they are used on Zikes' script for dAmn chat but they can't be used as avatars (too big)
But you can use the 'thumb' code in your journal if you have a subby
