Darkness filled the room as soon as Jean blew out the candle that sat on the night stand. Previously, it ignited the room with a relaxing, subtle light. However now it was pitch black. Jean climbed under the covers with you and pulled you closer into his warmth. The thin blanket that covered you both didn't do much of a good job of it.

You and Jean had been seeing each other for a while now. It's gotten to be a decent amount of time considering you and him were both in your underwear sharing a bed. None of this was in a suggestive way, it was more in a comforting way. Jean and you had grown quite fond of each other in the past few months.

Moments had past, and your thoughts drifted away elsewhere. Dull, never ending minutes passed as you found yourself still awake in the arms of a certain someone. You were getting annoyed with your thoughts almost. Majority of your thoughts were depressing, melancholy and practically made you wanna burst into tears. You tried to shake off these pensive thoughts.

"Jean." Your quite voice echoed throughout the small room.

A small silence was heard before in a light voice a "Hmm?" was heard.

"I can't sleep." You admitted.

Jean scratched the nape of his neck as he thought about something he could do or say to help when the topic of hair got to him. He thought of something that could possibly help.

You suddenly felt a familiar pair of hands light smoothen your (l/h) hair down. Long, slender fingers played with the locks of your hair, lifting them up, and then letting them slowly back down. Jean ran his hands through your hair as you cuddled closer to the blanket.

His fingers traveled down your neck and his index finger trailed down your spine, sending shivers throughout your body. Soon he reached your bra strap, and lightly pulled it a couple time, signaling that it was blocking his way. You sloppily attempted to undo it, but with the dark and you being half asleep you just couldn't get it to unloop.

Just as you were getting frustrated, Jean gently pushed your hands and undid it in a quick second. You pulled the straps down your arms, but kept your chest covered.

His nails ever so lightly moved up and down your back, making your hairs stand up. In light circles, long lines and curly loops he comforted you. Jean never scratched your back or played with your hair before. He was pretty affectionate but only in a simple way, for what you've experienced.

Minutes passed and you could tell his hands were getting tired but how lazy they were getting.

"Jean, you can stop now." You lightly said. You knew if you didn't tell him he could he'd probably scratch your back all night long.

He pulled his hands away and redid your bra. A little disappointed from the sudden lost of his hands, you turned around and looked at him. A faint blush appeared on his face as you snuggled up against his body, legs tangled with each other, your head resting on his upper chest as your arms draped around him. He also wrapped his arms around you, his hands settling on your waist.

"Are you still having trouble falling asleep?" Jean asked.

You didn't answer though.

You couldn't, you were already out like a light.
