Even with amazingly rapid healing powers it's gotta hurt like HELL when those things come out.Just messing about with a comic style (that works on two levels, heh).
And some blood, because I'll bet there's blood as well.

i heard that lady deathstrike had bionic limbs and that if you look closely (in the movie version of her) her claws are segmented, like a radio areal, which could back up that statement.
does anyone know if this is right, or just a rumour?

I like that you added the blood, it made it feel more real. The move makes their claws look like cool additions rather than the survival necessity their given for.

i think this would be a bit more painful than Wolverine's claws, seeing as how sensitive your fingertips are.

If they weren't aiming the movie at kids, they would really had added the blood effects when those claws come out. Yeah I can imagine the pain Logan goes through when those claws come out from inbetween the knuckles... but DeathStrike's pain must be even worse.. I mean... the skin that's ripped is the one right on the top of the fingers and below the nails! O.o That looks hella painful to me.. altough I still think Logan's claws are better fitted for fighting.. DeathStrike must have quite a hard time doing anything with those claws out without shredding herself up.
This brought back memories of that final fight between the two. I honestly didn't see how could Logan could beat her up.. she was obviously more skilled of a fighter. Actually, I wasn't sure either of them could die due to their healing skills.. indeed, they were both in for a world of pain XD It was a very gruesome death on the end though.. darn Logan had to cheat in the end. I really don't see how they can bring her back... of course it would be awesome if they did, but logically speaking they would have to come up with some laughable argument to explain her resurrection. Ah well.. one can but hope, she was a cool villian on the end 
Oh and the comic-feeling of this image is very neat as well, it should appear as one of those ads you see on comics. Hmm... now I am wondering what was DeathStrike's story, I was never a big follower of the X-Men, and as such, I don't know crap about anyone's past

Hmm... maybe "for kids" is not the best way to put it... it was more of a movie for for all audiences (or something like PG13 or whatever they rate most action movies like today), which meant they could have lots of action, but they couldn't have lots of blood. Which is kinda ridiculous.... ah well, I suppose they get the most income from the movie if they manage to make it "viewable" by as large an audience as possible....
