Description
Ahh... so long between submissions.I blame Guild Wars, it's way too addictive and I've not been doing much of my own stuff lately.
Although saying that, this is another work piece, specifically requested. Started at 6:30am this morning and finished at 11:34pm.
My eyes hurt but I'm really pleased with this, so I consider the pain worthwhile.
Am in an extremely good mood due to getting my hair cut because it was ridiculously long and I was tired of sitting on it. Now it is a reasonable length and I will no longer find random cats attached to it when I leave the house.
So yeah, I blather. Uma Thurman.. Pulp Fiction, classic image. Planning on doing something "Kill Bill-Esque" next because I feel like it.
Thanks for looking and have a nice day

This is by far the best vector I've seen in a while. Double points for being Pulp Fiction.

I know of a GNU licensed program which means it is totally free forever and it is suppose to be as good as Adobe Illustrator. You can download it off the net. It works on windows and other operating systems. I do have to warn you, if you are a Microsoft Windows user it may not work as well. Windows can be annoying. I don't know this for sure since I don't use it on Microsoft windows. But other GNU programs seem to freak Microsoft Windows out so I figure this one won't be any different. I mostly got freeze up on occasion. That doesn't happen on my operating system very often but it did on there. It is called INKSCAPE if your are interested and if you don't like it well you lose nothing but some time. I am presently practincing the tutrorial in it but I can't do what you do, so I can't tell you if you can either. But most likely you can, since it is a very powerful vector program. I hope this helps solve your problem of not having Adobe Illustrator.
You mentioned the printing industry. Are you in that field? Or is someone in your family? Is that why you are so good with the vector art? Again I just want to say you do great work. Love this vector picture.
Is there a tutorial on vectoring a picture like you do. I would love to learn. I can learn no matter what program you are using as reference. I do that sort of thing all the time.
Take Care

Your vector art is incredible as usual. It's great because it looks identical in form to the original, yet it shows how much artistry you put into making it. Great job! Looking forward to the Kill Bill piece!

Wow, a Kill Bill shot would be a GREAT vector! Maybe something of her in the yellow, blood-spattered jumpsuit? Well, of course, what am I thinking? lol
By the way, this is GREAT! I love Uma Thurman, I think she's an absolute goddess. Fave!

Very good! May get taken for copyright infringement, but you've done a great job vectoring the original image.

The picture is fantastic. The thumbnail looked like a photograph and the enlargement looks like a very fine painting. But I am interested in what you used to create it. Did you do it on the computer or with drawomg amd painting freehand. The proportions and lighting are reallly fine. I would like to be able to do that. Again it is a reallly masterful picture.. I love it.
Take Care.

This piece is a vector, using paths to create infinitely scalable shapes which make up the entire image. I generally use Photoshop because I'm too poor to afford Adobe Illustrator, the program that most other people use.
Vectoring is really fun and if you're working in the printing industry it's really useful as everything can be resized up/down without any loss of quality. It's also a style that lends itself well to the "pop-art" genre.
