Fifth in the Chosen's Kids series. Sorry it took so long, I was totally out of it.Daisuke's boy and Ken and Miyako's girl look so much like Daisuke and Miyako it's not even funny. Ken and Miyako's girl, at least, has Ken's hair and seems to have Ken's funny sweepy bangs thing going on, so she doesn't look too much like a mini-Miyako, but Daisuke's kid is like a clone. More of a clone than Taichi's boy, even!
I thought it would be cute to play up that whole thing by recreating the type of friendship Daisuke and Miyako had with their kids. Lots of teasing, lots of making fun of eachother, some harmless violence, but all in all, they're bestest friends and really love eachother. Platonically. Though it could become more than that. And I'm sure Daisuke, Ken and Miyako wouldn't mind.
Daisuke's boy is named Daiki and he's 15. Ken and Miyako's girl is named Mai and she's 16 (thus continuing the tradition! You know what I'm talking about if you remember what Miyako said about her parents in episode 8).

I could always invision those two growing up to have a bit of a relationship like that, too. ^.^ Glad I wasn't the only one. This is a very cute pic! I like their poses and cel-shading a lot.
