Description
The Bounty hunter brought Jai to the hand as instructed and was rewarded handsomely. The butcher of Draksis told him to stand by and be ready to return at a moments notice. The bounty hunter bowed and left the building.
Jai had been placed in a full body ring restraint. Her hands and feet were locked in metal orbs and held in place by electromagnetic force.
The ring restraint has many uses. Not just as a restraint, but as a horrific torture device as well. The control panel at the side has various
options with some custom programing modifications made by the hand herself.
The Hand slowly walked around the device summing up Jai in a uncomfortable silence that seemed to go on for a intolerably long time.
"Jai'Aadra" The hand finally said pausing for another moment.
"The intelligence gathering girl from the desert world wielding Terran trade bars."
Jai could only listen in horror as the machine spoke, her body frozen unable to move, unable to speak.
"Brave..very brave and equally foolish" she hissed.
"My instincts tell me to torture then end your pitiful exsistance...oh how I want to hurt you. You have caused much damage to our
ambitions on your world.... and here you sit..your very life.. Mine to control."
Her every word hung on the air, heavy with malice and hatred.
"But my logical side" she continued, "My logical side says you will be of far more use to me alive."
She placed her foot on the ring and ran her cold hand along Jai's back sending shivers along Jai's spine.
The Hand grinned. Her grin causing Jai's stomach to turn.
"Let's have a bit of fun, shall we?"
The hand walked over to the ring's control panel.
"So many choices.I like all of them,so hard to choose." she quipped.
"Mmm. This one. This one is perfect." she said her voice cold and emotionless.
She pressed a few buttons and Jai's body was instantly racked with pain. Had she been able to have control of her faculties
she'd have screamed. Instead tears rolled down her cheeks.
The hand slowly walked around the device circling it and gleefully savored every second of Jai's pain.
"You enjoy gathering intelligence yes? Oh how rude of me, you cannot speak. No matter. Then you shall just listen."
"By the power vested in me by the almighty Ta'ak I have decided to spare you. But..it comes with a truly delicious price."
"You see, I am going to use you my dear..to be the downfall of your world...your worlds people, and the Terranan military in
much the same way you sought to undermine the authority of Draksis in the universe." She pause in between thoughts to
make Jai suffer.
"Did you know a mortal living beings mind can be re-programmed much like a machine?"
" It is true!" she said laughing.
"Fascinating truly. would you agree?"
"We are going to rewire you brain. Re-program you to serve our needs."
"First, we shall crack your skull open..without anesthesia of course. Delightful! Yes, and we will insert a transmitter Β in your brain,
which will send us all the valuable information the Terranan armies wish to hide from us!"
"You will continue on as they assigned you. Right now, this very moment they believe you are continuing to gather information for them,
completely unaware that you are here in Draksis....with ME." she growled.
"Why would I tell you this? you must be thinking."
"because you will have no memory of this encounter. It will seem as if you had never been here. You had never met me..had never been to the great capitol world of Draksis." she crooned.
The bounty hunter shall return you to your desert world. You will not remember him either..and he shall keep a close eye on you."
"Now sweet Jai'Aadra...I shall prepare for your surgery. In the meantime I will leave you to your thoughts, and pain."
The Hand smiled if you could call it that.
She left the room and Jai screamed within her mind nearly faint from the pain.

Can't wait to see the after robotization follow up of the render.

The only visible change in Jai will be a scar. The modifications to her will be inside her head But I think you will really dig the series of renders I'm going to do on the history of The Hand (DaveyAbbo's synth) and how she came to be what she is now.

I had honestly thought about it..I finally have a way to do the text bubbles..But I may wait til I finsish building the liquid cooled computer I'm building. I'll be able to make far better renders quicker. Right now every render I do has a ton of touch up afterwards. Missing pixels, off color pixels that sort of thing. It takes a while to brush those out. Like the last render with System 46, there was so many pixels off color that I pretty much just used a de-pixelate filter, which is why it looks more like a painting than a digital render. The pixel issue seems to happen most with darker images for me anyway. The new computer should eliminate that. Right now I'm using a cheap Acer laptop which is also loaded with all my music production gear as well so its really bogging down the ram memory.

Yeah, built that render rig first then finally getting into the meat of things so to speak. And never noticed that actually. Usually figured it's the way it is.
Although curious and off-topic but any plans to game up on the render machine once it's going around? I know the computer teacher I had back in my high school days would use his render machine for gaming along with doing 3D art.Β

TheΒ mother board is a Gigabyte AurusΒ gaming 8 board. So I could certainly do all that too. I only play SWOTR on computer. I'm terrible with the whole ASWD controls lol. I ended up getting one of the Razor key pads and could program the keys for the different moves and stuff. That helped a lot, but I have always been a console gamer really.

Ah okay and I know KB+M can take time to master but you'll get into it more and more along the way if keeping up with the practice. Heh. But there's the other option of just plugging in a Steam Controller, a game pad, Xbox/PS controller, etc. Anyway, awaiting the next render to eyecandy on.

Ah okay. Overall seems to be going somewhere with a sort of lore and build up of said lore. Would be interesting if it does comes into webcomic form eventually. Although webcomic wise, do the comic style or just the render pic and have the text on the description as you have been doing so far? Just wondering.

I like and go for realistic art( not that I don't love comic style ) Its easier t just write, than to try and add text into bubbles like in a comic, but I'm not against doing that either. I may do a combination of both. Like, description wise and lore and whatnot I would just write, but conversations between characters ect, I would do in the bubbles like a comic.

I vote for reprogrammed. *shudder* The poor thing.

The fact that it is such a minor alteration is what is truly insidious. She will be herself in every way, but unaware that she is helping Draksis. I think if she knew she would choose death also. The Hand has a knack for painful irony.

True. She is sadistic on a whole other level. Being a machine , with free will and bad programming she redefines depravity.
I'll go a little more into her history at some point. Some revealing facts that won't be expected

Yeah it's interesting stuff. That's why I did the portrait of Ed Gein. Not that I glorify what he did, but its fascinating that he did what he did. I would have loved to talk to him while he was alive. He died in 1984.
