Neither him or that other guy that follows Manjyome around have official names in the anime, so when it comes to the games Konami seem to just make shit up.

Actually, it's Topher. The unattractive spiky-haired brunette is Conklin. And that's *only* in the English dubbed GBA game.
In *my* game (Spirit Caller,) "Topher" becomes "Torimaki Taiou," and "Conklin" becomes "Mototani Raizou."
