It was dinner time. You sat down by Jean and Marco, with Sasha and Connie in front of you.

"(f/n), are you serious about joining the Survey Corps? You're second in the class! The Military Police is calling your name!" Jean said.

"Well, I guess it's calling the wrong name. I'm joining the Survey Corps, and there's nothing you can do about it." You said bluntly.

"Why do you wanna join the Survey Corps if you're only gonna get killed! You haven't seen those things in the eyes before! They're terrifying (f/n), terrifying!" Jean said, causing everyone, and I mean everyone stopped and stared.

"Are you serious? I lost my mother to those monsters! I saw it. I witnessed my mother being eaten by those monsters. I will not lost anyone else. Every since that day, I've vowed to myself to kill all of them. You don't understand, none of you do!" You said, noting everyone was looking at you in shock.

"Your unworthy ass just wants to join the interior to live the easy life, while I on the other hand, am actually doing something with my life. None of you know what it feels like. So just get off my ass with this, I'm Joining the Survey Corps, and No ones gonna stop me."

With hat, you stormed out, and sat down on the stairs.

"Hey." A voice said behind you.

"Jean I swear to god if it's you-"

"It's Eren." He said.

"Oh, whatever. If you're here to tell me I'm crazy for wanting to join the scouts, don't waste your breath." You said bluntly.

"I'm not." He said, sitting down next to you.

"Then what the hell do you want." You said.

"To tell you that I know what you're going through. I lost my mother to a titan, too. Back when Wall Maria fell. I vowed to kill all of the titans, too."

You looked at him in shock.

"Just know, I'm gonna be by your side when we join the Survey Corps." Eren said.

"Me, too." You said, as you both looked at the stars in front of you.
