The tounge in this is awsome, as is Daxter's expression. I love the way you shaded his ears blushing as well as his face, it's something that I think a lot of people are likely to forget (I always do). I also like the way that the scene tells it's story so easily. A quick look tells you everything that's going on, leaving you to look closely at the details later.
I only have two nit-picks for you (don't tell me you didn't see 'em comming), the first being that there doesn't appear to vbe any shading on Daxter and Jak's hair. I know the gradient effects can be livving hell to shade, but it looks a little lacking without it.
The other isn't so much a nit-pick as a question, I'm not sure if the floor boards are supposed to be dirty or not, but maybe a little shine on them, to give them a polished feel? Though, that's leave-able if they're supposed to be grungy. ^^
