FULLVIEW. It is... CLOGGY otherwise!Because good old-fashioned Link to the Past Zelda art never goes amiss when you're replaying the game on GBA. omg I heart remakes.
XD;;; It's really quite unimpressive. Markers only, with a little gel-pen.
Wanted to make this look like... official-art-y. A few filters, and BAM. Just what I was looking for!

No, he didnt kill the man. ES EL UNCLE DE LINK. I remember this scene from when I was JUUUUST A BEBE, and I always wondered how, after his uncle got KILLED, Link was all like 'K THX 4 THE SWORD. ME = GO SAVE PRINCESS YADAYADASHIZZ. BAI.' *leaves his dear uncle for the rats to EAT.*
But then, back then I was still wondering why they named the entire series after a princess who shows up ONLY to be saved o_o Why not Legend of Link? Huh? Huh?

Cuse the Legend is about the Princess captured somewhere by someone so... You get out there to see if the legend is true... ThatΒ΄s why the legend is about Zelda... As you are playing with Link (witch sounded better in my head) you get the point that HE is not a legend, yet...

A Link to the Past maybe one of the most under appreciated Zelda titles I've seen. Not only is it one of my personal favorites, but it is pretty challenging at times. It provides some pretty relevant Hylrulean history and is probably one of the more important titles to the Zelda Mythology. Most of the fan art I find of this game doesn't appeal to me very much, but this is an exception. It depicts one of the greatest beginnings to a great game.

You bring up a good point to, it makes no sense that they should call it the legend of Zelda. Half the games, (Okay like maybe two) she doesn't even show up. It makes no sense, but oh well, it's not like there's anything to do about that.

man. The first thing I feel in love with on this piece was how you did the lightsourcing with the torches. Holycrap Nickis. I mean, it is just so perfectly done, I think I almost thought it was a cg or something, because the transitions are just so smooooth <3 I really adore how you did Link's eyes so bright, and the little shiny on the sword!
the folds and shading on the clothing is absolutely beautiful, and I really love how you did the wall :3 I love how it has cracks and little plants growing out of it! D: Its so freakingincredible. I just don't get how you can turn out something so amazing! Your marker work is just beautiful ok <3

Aww, Link looks so lost and boyish, just like in the game. This brought back some fond memories.
And that's some awsome shading you've done, I can almost hear the torches fizzling. The light you've drawn them to cast over everything else is absolutely beautiful.
Why it's named Legend of Zelda? Well, you don't see Zelda much, as you said. But you see Link all the time. It's easier to be a legend when you're mysterious ;D

The colors look rully nice though! ;D I like all the shadowing and glowing on the cloth and walls, and even his sword, and how you can see the fightlight on his face. <3 Mmph, that's so sexy.
Sometimes you don't need lots of different blended media to make a very beautiful piece of art. ;D It's all in the attention to detail.

Eeee...I've been playing the remake, too. ^_^ Althougth, I put it down a while back, so I still haven't finished it. But I'm near the end...heh.
Anyway, this is teh purty. I recognized the scene straight off and immediatly squealed with joy. Link's face is so good...and the shading! And the poor old man...so much that I love 'bout this, but I'm gushing now, so I best scurry off, and fave this as I scamper out the door. :nods:

^___^ Aaaah YES. I remembah, back in the day when The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past came in a beeeeg cartridge with GOLD labeling. Twas much love~ And the remake was also much love~ Though I think one of the reasons he left his uncle down there was cuz it was like "OMFG! D: The princess got kidnapped AGAIN?! *le dash*"
