O____O I am in awe of your mad coloring ninja skillz. There's just so much lovely, rich, vibrant color here that I don't even know where to begin. The coat and the pyreflies are especially well done. (How, exactly, do you do highlighting like that with markers? I've never figured it out.)
And, of course, there's the Auron-ness of it all...I know you've probably got every squealing Auron fangirl on DA already drooling over this pic, but it's quite refreshing seeing such excellent fanart of him. *refrains from squealing*

Holy HECK woman! No wonder Angie was going on and on about this pic on your journal (and on the comments here, no less. ^_^). You've got Auron down to pat so well! His clothes, his facial expressions, the pose and sword...all of it! Just kick-@ss Auron-ness that all his fans (both male and female) luff! And I full viewed! XD Kwee - GOTTA full-view something this grand, otherwise it's almost like an insult to the picture.
I know I should comment on Auron first but - THE PYREFLIES! They're just (forgive me for the randomness of this) SEXY! X__X The sharp, jagged shapes of their tails (like lil' comets ^_^). Pretty multi-colours and flippy-flying all over the place...just like the ones in the game - and a lovely touch to an Auron-related pic too.
If there's one thing that strikes me most of all - it's his coat. Obviously, because of the red - but because it's a RICH red! You used that Tuscan Red like CRAZI girl! 
Teehee - and his face! I could never get Auron looking right, but you've done it! The shape of his nose all defined, his scarred eye, with the other peeking out above his sunnies (squee!) the lines marking his upper jaw - and even darker shading for his stubble on the corner of his chin.
I can tell you obviously like the paint pens and mitsubishi ink pens if you ended up using 'em.

HIS FACE. the detail in his face is simply...absurd. o_o not in a bad way though, not at all...it's just stunning as to how you've tackled the tones on his forehead like that, and the coloration is just so verreh YUMMY. ;D smooth, SMOOTH transitions from peaches to tans are displayed, and i would freaking kill to accomplish what you've done here. *points* the arms are hawt, too...shiny and soft looking, andandandand i'm STILL talking about the skin tones! dear LORD, the deep reds of the coat are magnificent, dammit. ;_; drop dead beautiful. i love how you can see every stroke, and with the way it's blended, it looks like a real mass of velvety fabric. extremely admirable it is, and it really shows skill. *hearts* GAH!! XD; and the bundled up sleeve! it's suu purdy, and the shine really brings it out. your ability to churn out intense darks and lights is seriously improving...it's like you've exploded overnight into this professional illustrator.

I like this pic because of all the detail put into it. I just don't have the patience to draw so fine... All the folds and shading in the cloak, the precise colours of the hair, the vibrant motion in the fluttery things (< -- has not played FFX beyond the opening video -which she loves- and thus has no idea) and most of all in the SHIMMIES. Yes, shimmies. They're all perfect. And I really want to cry about how good it is but i'd wake up my brother and then there'd be havoc... so I bid thee goodnight, and happy drawing!

If I can find anything to critique, anything at all, and I had to search really hard BECAUSE OMG THIS FEXKING RAWKS!, I'd say his head is a bit too wide and his sword hand doesn't have have a clearly defined wristbone which is only a little disconcerting if you actually bother to think about it.
But... the colours.... THE COLOURS! Simply splendid as always, and his cool expression is just so... Auron! The composition is something spiffy and your attention to detail is great. I love the belts. I can't draw belts worth a shit and I love how you got them just so...

You blend the colored pencils so darned well! I is jus' totally diggin' what'cha did with the RED! The energy flow, the shades of dark and light reflections -- It's poppin' out like in 3-D -- without the need for goggles! The detail on Auron's forehead is amazin', too! Aw, heck, the FACE, man, the face! So realistic 
Those things are called 'pyreflies'? We usually call 'em Will-o'-Whisps. I'll hafta remember that... The white speckles adds a nice effect to it. The hilt of th' sword kinda bothers me, tho' -- looks kinda small. Is that the original design to the sword? (I've never had the chance to play FFX meself

WOW! Were'd you lean to draw like that! That's practly your best drawing I've ever seen! Unfortantly my drawings are ass. Take a look. Just submited this last night. [link] Every at school who I showed this to (have drawing in my scetch book) said they loved it, and it was they're favourite drawing out of all of my other drawings. And ya think out of aaallll the "How To Draw Manga" books I have, with over a hundred of eyes to choose from I had to choose those. ¬¬ Eh well. But still great drawing!
