You are almost right This is a full scale mpdel of Russian space shuttle "Buran"

I remembered that Russia had the Buran, I just couldnt remember the name of it. I had thought this might have been the actual Buran itself.

Well, the actual Buran, that was in space, was destroyed on 12 May 2002 in collapsed hangar. "Energia" carrier rocket was destroyed too.
