I ding think I've ever mentioned this lol but I love Wings of Fire, so heres a little fan character I made. :3
Her mother is a sandwing named Sidewinder and her father is a seawing named Barracuda. Her mother wasnt fond of any of the three sandwing princesses during the sandwing war so she fled to one of the far coastlines where she met Barracuda. After that they settled down together in a small secluded hut and raised their only daughter. They're greatest fear was Burn finding out about her so they kept a close eye on her. Chaparral is a young carefree dragonet with dreams of studying the natural world. She is very kind and passive, preferring to be alone to think and study. Can be shy and awkward in groups or meeting new dragons. She was always a bit of an outsider due to her very unusual appearance so she kept to herself most of the time. Her only friend is a small sandwing named Acorn. She loves to read, draw, write and study the world around her. She loves walking along the coastline picking up fossils and studying them. Since the sandwing war ended and attitudes towards hybrids has changed she hopes to one day attend jade academy and hopefully get an education, meet other dragons and study the natural world and become a scholar. Her biggest dream is to become a paleontologist and naturalist. Barracuda taught her how to swim at an early age and it's one of her favorite past times. She especially loves to surf. She has tried to teach acorn how to surf but hes far less enthused about getting wet. She can breathe fire and her blue markings can faintly glow. She has better than average night vision for a sandwing. She cannot breath underwater but is a very strong swimmer.
