Another test panel! This is the next panel right after the last one I posted, Rasha is talking to the Grand Seer and responding to her comments. The real comic will be consistent lol, for this I wanted to try out a new color palette for night time scenes that I saw in oil paintings. 😍 I love it so much.... added a watermark too because I'm not taking my chances! XD
I love how this turned out, even though there are so many errors. DX scale? Proportion?? Composition??? Checking your drawing over before scanning it?????? WHAT'S THAT? one day I'll be a real artist I swear...;A; finally learned the hard way what a confusing silohette was....also, speech bubbles. Why are they so hard to format??? I need to work on that, I think I need to make the text more circular so the bubbles are more circular and doesnt crowd the text. Idk, things to practice. Went a little overboard on glowy things. XD I LOVE GLOWY EFFECTS. I am happy with the lighting and values, I got that going for me lol. Overall, this was a fun piece that brings out both of their different personalities. Thats why I like it so much, you guys can finally SEE how these two are! XD Denece is a very timid, passive creature and I can finally visually show that. :> and man do I love this 'style', feels so nice and looks great! I can do the line art anywhere and that makes me so happy! The scene will end here, no more follow up test panels for this particular scene.
A little clarification, Denece was not recognized as the Sylcoe as soon as she was born. Gia recognized her strong spiritual connection, hence why she was trained as a Seer, but didn't recognize that this was because she was the Sylcoe. XD there are reasons for this, they'll be in the story itself. the biggest reason is that the Sylcoe spirit delibratly "hides" or prevents itself from becoming noticed when the Sylcoe (goes for Arkcoe too) is very young, this way the Sylcoe won't be in danger of being attacked, captured or manipulated by those who seek the Realm Guardians power. Once the Sylcoe is old enough the Sylcoe Spirit emerges and the Sylcoes powers are realized.
