or like, his or her own style of drawing. What's the point of pinpointing what you think inspired it if you could be completely wrong? I only say this because it doesn't particularly remind me of either of the things you mentioned.

ok I respect that. I wasn't saying this was ripped, is it a problem that it reminds me of styles I admire tho?

I just tend to think everybody's art looks like a combination of what they've seen and what they'd like to see, so anyone could pick similar things from their own sphere of influence to relate to another artist's work.

True, there's nothing wrong with pointing out style similarities. I just see it as redundant.
