Actually I was working on another image and played with mappings. While trying different merge modes I tripped over an interesting color effect. For it I should note that every layer is made with the same two-point-gradient, white and red brown. The color effect is a product of the 'Difference' merge mode, which can produce very nice colors but is hard to handle in my opinion. I'm not quiet happy with the center (in addition I lost some details during rendering) but couldn't find a effect which was halfway suitable.Created with Ultra-Fractal, no postwork except subtle color enhancement.
FULL VIEW IS MUCH BETTER!
Edit: I changed the center - I'm still not really satisfied but I like it better in this way.

And when the two Ku'raisindyrs merged, they formed the Magnificent world. And in the junction of those two voids, there was but one pure creation: the Moonrose.

You know, I missed the DD on that image completly and when I got back two weeks ago I simply deleted all the fav's. But sadly I also missed to read all the comments given then. I just read them and saw your congratulation. I needed to think if all those people would know how much I dislike this image. This image got more than 100 fav's already the day I submitted it first. Already the day after I was wondering what I was thinking to submit such image. I couldn't understand anymore why I thought this image was nice or cool. And the only reason I didn't delete it here was that I'm vain! And now this ....LOL
