Thats great - the way you've used black and white and made the light and shade of the model and clothes similar to the light and shade on the tree roots.

i love how for a minute, the tree roots actually look like arms and legs

very creepy, thought-provoking and appropriate for the title!

i gotta ask, did you manipulate the photo to make the tree look that way or was the tree actually that twisted?

This is a great shot. I like best the way that her dress parallels the tree roots in it's ripples and shadows.

I really love how her pose seems to entwine with the roots of this tree. I only wish that her dress were ironed, or consisted of a fabric that was intentionally crinkly. Regardless- this speaks to me as a message of how nature can be potentially nurturing. Quite a stunning visualization.
