...how did you...is that all gaming logic?!? That is insane.  I've wanted to try something like this...but..wow.  So cool!

While you did a good job on the model overall, the muzzle end of the fire-arm was completely in-accurate. I'd recommend going to websites that sell surplus parts for guns, to get nice good high quality refferance materials for parts like the barrel bushing. Also another minor detail, the trigger doesn't tilt at all when being fired, it moves straight back a small distance before the hammer is tripped.

It's still a good product overall since most don't have the time to delve into guns like I do, but hopefully you'll take the critique in a constructive light.

I am not a weapon expert and i never held a handgun in my hand.
Thanks and thank you for you critique, next time I'll consider it when i build a handgun like this.

A very fine model. I had seen this on blendswap and have been meaning to download. Although, muzzle flash isn't perfect. Also, isn't the .45 acp just a 1911?

I knew the 45 caliber, but I'm afraid I'm not familiar with acp.

I should have waited until a little further into the video to comment The animation on the weapon and the game engine mechanics are absolutely spot on too. Very nice work in the normal map to create the finer detail to the side of the weapon the screws and the texture in the grip. My only criticism would be that that the back of the slide should have more detail than the front as that is the angle a player would be looking at it from in the most detail.

Great work.
