Description
This is my entry for the ArtOrder/Muddy Colors challenge - Eowyn and the Nazgul from The Lord of the Rings. It's such a great scene in the book, so I really enjoyed illustrating it!I could have spent so much more time on this, but I was busy with work and stuff until short before the deadline °-°;
If I'm lucky and get critique from the judges, I might just work on it a little more

so there is a contest about this. I've seen this battle pop in my inbox about seven times in the last three days, but I think yours is the first I've seen to actually mention the contest (or I could be dyslexic and not checking) either way this is possibly my favorite rendition so far.

I'm madly in love with this. Beautiful interpretation of the scene
and skill as well. I myself am a LOTR geek, so this pleases me
so to see on the front page! (especially after receiving the one

nice art....but i do see one problem. the Witch King never shows eyes (to my knowledge anyway), and his entire helmet is missing....either way, badass

Actually, this is exactly how he is described in the book. There's no helmet, only a crown and a pair of evil eyes. Nothing more.
