Description This is an illustration of young Severus Snape in the Shrieking Shack with Lupin in this werewolf form. I'm foggy on the details (or if there were any), but I wanted to draw it. The shadow could be better, I know, and the background should be more detailed, but oh well. Generally, I like it (obviously enough to put it in my gallery rather than just scrap it like I did some of the others).

You have my permission to ask for commissions, so long as I get to see the end result and am credited where I should be I'll be honest though, I won't be writing one, myself.

Sorry for the super lateness of my reply @.@/

I would love to write one due to your image
And post it on Deviant art of course, link it to you, if that would be perfectly alright? ^w^

In the actual book, Snape wasn't injured. He was dragged out very shortly after actually seeing the wolf. If he had been harmed, he'd've almost certainly been turned into a werewolf - one bite, or a bit of slobber getting into a cut like the one on his arm here... Yeah. Also, you can't really fight off a werewolf once it's started on someone. In the actual book, they had to run for it.

Still. I'm quite fond of the drawing anyways... if James Potter had been about two minutes later, this would've been what he'd found.

Also, I didn't notice anything weird with the fur until after I saw your comments about it, also. I think it's just fine. The whole thing is nicely drawn, imho, but Snape's face is what makes it. You did quite well with that.

I remember lupin saying that James saved Snape, or else Dumbledore said it, but still James saved him.

Maybe something in Lupin was still conscious enough to keep himself from killing his "friend"? Whatever the case may be, I'm glad he did! <3

Good facial expression on Snape there. The hair on the Werewolf's neck is a little cheezy tho... if you did this in Photoshop, use the smudge tool across the back of the neck to give a realistic fur look. Cool image, tho, the shadow cast is a good idea.

It looked funny without the hair, and since in the movie, Lupin as a werewolf has rather sparse hair. I dunno, I'm alright with it.

Yeah, it would look funny without the hair, but smudging gives a realistic effect. I'm not saying thats the only way, it's only how I would do it. It's just constructive criticism.
