"Na na na na, hey!" Callie and Marie sang as they finished up their song, striking a flashy pose in unison.

Their performance was a hit as usual. The crowd was going wild.

"Phew, another great performance!" Callie thought to herself.

But as she looked out to the cheering crowds, she noticed that there was a dark, circular silhouette forming around her feet.

"Huh? What's this?" she asked as she noticed it getting darker and darker by the second.

Then she looked up.

"Uh-oh."

*CRASH*
*SQUOOSH*

One of the massive stage lights that hung from the stage ceiling had come crashing down upon the unsuspecting squid girl. The crowd gasped with shock.

"Aah! Sis! Are you alright!?" Marie exclaimed.

Panicking, she quickly ran over and pushed the huge light off of her.

"Ooooohhhhh... what happened?" Callie groaned in a dizzily.

"Oh dear... look at you," Marie remarked.

What she found under the fallen stage light wasn't unexpected. Callie was squashed completely flat from head to toe. Her soft, squishy squid body was no match for the large metal stage light, and smushed down to a millimeter in thickness onto the tiles underneath her. Her legs bent at the knees, an expression of shock and disappointment etched across her face, it was a sight to behold. Marie probably spread her out as she pushed the light off of her unintentionally, as she noticed her sister was somewhat wider than usual.

Marie delicately peeled her off of the stage floor, making a loud peeling noise as she came off.
*SCHRIIIIIP*
The sound echoed through the microhphones which were still active around the stage. The crowd who had fallen somewhat silent at this point laughed a little as they saw Marie holding up her paper thin body.

"H-hey! It's not funny!" Callie whined as she flopped gently back and forth.

"Don't worry sis, I'll get you back to normal!" Marie said as she rolled her up like a scroll and ran off stage to find an air pump.

What happened that day was quite the crazy incident, and Callie had hoped never to be flattened like the during a performance ever again.

New look for Callie! And I'm sure you know who else has gotten an updated look to go along with her
MMD sure has some nice looking models available to it. I really like this version better than the other one I used before, so I'll be trying to use this look when I can.

Also, you may have noticed yet another change to how I'm doing stories. I'm trying a more dialogue driven writing style for now as opposed to a narrative one, and I think the overall length has gotten a good bit longer as a result. Whether or not I stick to it in the long run will be based on how much I enjoy it, and how much others like it as well.
