Ah Phoebe. The true innocence of the group, and also the most difficult for me to create in terms of visual design. With the other two characters, I already had a good idea of what I wanted them to look like. There was a lot more uncertainty with Phoebe however, so she took the most time and was the one I finished last. I really wanted to capture a cutesy, yet chaotic little angel look. Sweet and well meaning, but her blissful ignorance causes issues for her friends. But man it required a number of redesigns. I considered changing her whole color palette a few times, and one of the first working models looked way too much like another character that I hadn't intended it to. I actually completed that model of her, then threw the whole thing away because I unsatisfied with how it looked. I started over from scratch, and with even more changes, I finally settled on this design here that I was finally satisfied with.
