Rainbow Dash: Ugh darnit... I almost made it too! Just one more split second and I wouldn't have been flattened!

Rainbow Dash was never one to back out of a challenge, especially one that tested her athleticism. When her friend made a bet with her that she couldn't run from the school to the nearest pizza place within 5 minutes, she immediately accepted the challenge with a look of fierce determination on her face.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Rainbow Dash immediately took off as quickly as she could, her feet a blur as she sprinted across the sidewalks, adeptly dodging pedestrians, signs, and other random obstacles that littered the streets. Soon, she could see the pizza place just across the street. Looking at a nearby clock, she noticed that only 4 and a half minutes had passed by since she started. She was going to make it! Only one problem. The crosswalk that lead right to the building had a flashing "Walk" sign on it, just about to change into "Don't Walk."
Dash knew she didn't have the time to wait for it to rotate back to walk again. So she did what she knew she had to.
"I can make it across before the sign changes! I've got to!"
With a spring in her step, she took off into the crosswalk. Only a few feet away from the other side however, the sign changed to "Don't Walk."
Immediately, a motorcyclist that seemed to be in a huge hurry immediately took off from the stoplight and flew right past Dash, sending her into a rapid spin.
"Whoah-oh-oh-oh!"
Dash screamed as she spun around before finally slowing down and landing flat on her back in a daze.
"Ugh, geez. That guy was in a big rush. But I have no time to lose! I've gotta-"
*SQUISH*
Dash was interrupted by a car tire running right over her mouth, flattening her head into the ground. Her head looked like a very wide, and very flat pancake pressed firmly into the asphalt.
"N-no! Now I'm never going to make it! Come on, I have to-HERK"
Dash was once again interrupted by another car rolling right over her, as if she wasn't even there. This time, it rolled over her entire body, bringing it down to the same thickness of her head, which wasn't much at this point.
But it didn't stop there. As the stoplight was green, more and more cars drove over the flattened girl, pressing her flatter and smushing her out wider with each pass. It almost seemed as if the vehicles were getting heavier as they continued. Soon, trucks, buses, and even an RV or two contributed to squashing Rainbow Dash even thinner. By the time the wave of traffic had finally died down, Rainbow Dash was 3 times larger in surface area, and level with the ground. She had been squashed and smushed so thin that the paint lining the streets had more depth than her.
The crosswalk sign changed once again saying "Walk." Some pedestrians began to walk out onto the street, stepping on Dash's paper-thin body. She groaned as her body made little squelching noises under their feet. A young child and her mother walked on, and the child's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Look mommy! This crosswalk has a pretty design!"
"It certainly does sweetie! Whoever painted this on here must have put a lot of time and effort into it! It looks so real!" said the mother.
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, helpless to get herself out of this situation. She then light out another sigh as the stoplight turned green once more.

Once again, this is the initial story I wrote and was going to use for this piece. The one that ConnTronn is making is still a work in progress. I'll update it when it's ready!
