I lost count how many hours this took, well over 24. I'm happy with how it came out though because I've never tried the steampunk style before. Just as I was finishing this, I noticed it might make a good wallpaper or whatever. So feel free.If I were to do every character in the steampunk style (I'm tempted), Van Kleiss would look exactly the same! ^^

I know, the first thought I thought upon seeing Van Kleiss when I saw it was "He's totally steampunk". XD
This show is kind of punkish in itself now that I think about it. Think there's a specific term for punking modern times but I can't remember what it is... XD

When I first heard about Generator Rex, I saw the gear in the name and the goggles and I got all excited... then I saw the actual thing. Decidedly NOT steampunk. Lame.

I have a question though, and please don't mind me asking, but drawing the details on both wings of his boogiepack seems very time-consuming; seeing the similarity between the two, did you use copy+paste? I would have... XD;; SUCH a hassle!
But the finished work is beautiful, nonetheless. This would make a great wallpaper. Well done!

For the inking, Yeah, I just copy-paste and flipped it. I had to color them separately though or else the shadows would've been flipped too. Thank you for the comment! Glad you like it. ^^

How are you sooo dedicated? I couldn't last 10 minutes trying my hand at that for two reasons: 1) I can't draw for dirt. 2) I have the attention span of a marble.
