Description
It reminded me of lava flowing down a mountain.... this is a long exposure photograph of cars going up and down the old winding Highway 30 between Mosier and The Dalles, on the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge. A super-cool place for night photography!

I just set the camera to Bulb mode and exposed for a few minutes as the cars went by.

Now, this shot works for me, because my eye never stops moving, but it never flies off the edge, either. Subtle use of thirds, too, in all directions. And I love anything that's more or less monochromatic.
