I've been thinking about what dragon species I would give the hunter. I thought about maybe sticking to a Timberjack, but I thought that since my human antagonist is a hunter, why not give him a species that are like flying hunting dogs? So that's where Hound, Stray, Mongrel, and Mutt came from.

Bio: After discovering the Hidden World, the Hunter travels around, searching for the Scarlet Scourge. He loses the trail though and ends up lost. One day he's attacked by a pack of five Deathgrippers. He kills one, causing the others to flee and the Hunter continues his quest. Later at night the four remaining Deathgrippers approach him. At first he gets ready to shoot them, but he sees that they're showing submissiveness towards him. The Hunter figures out that he must've killed their alpha and now the others see him as their new leader. At first the Hunter is weary of his new companions, but sees that the Deathgrippers have their usefulness and finds companionship in them, even going as far as to give them their own names: Hound, Stray, Mongrel, and Mutt.
